Description
New Unitarian Charismatic Community

A new Unitarian Charismatic Community is forming in the UK — open, welcoming, and centred on the teachings of Jesus. We believe in one Almighty God, Yahweh or Jehovah in English, and in Jesus (English for Yeshua) as the Messiah — the Christ, the Anointed One (Matthew 16:16) — the Son of God (John 20:31) and the Son of Man (Mark 10:45). Scripture teaches that Jesus existed as a heavenly spirit before his birth (John 6:38; John 8:23), sent by God, yet distinct from God Himself.

We believe that Jehovah is the eternal King — “God is King over all the earth” (Psalm 47:7) and “Jehovah our God, the Almighty, has begun to reign” (Revelation 19:6). At the same time, Scripture shows that Jehovah has given kingship authority to Jesus — “All authority… has been given to me” (Matthew 28:18) — and that the Son of Man receives dominion and a kingdom from the Ancient of Days (Daniel 7:13–14). We understand this not as two competing kings, but as one eternal King (Jehovah) who appoints and empowers His chosen King (Jesus) for a specific mission and era.

We understand the Holy Spirit as the holy breath and power that comes from Jehovah (Acts 1:8) — God’s living presence at work in the world and in us. And because Scripture teaches that we are made of spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23), we see the soul as our mind and inner life — the Greek psychē (soul) is the root of psychology — which is why we speak of people as whole mind‑body‑spirit beings.

We welcome the gifts of the Spirit — healing, wisdom, prophecy, discernment, tongues, interpretation, faith, and more (1 Corinthians 12:4–11) — as ways God strengthens, restores, and encourages people.

We acknowledge that “we know in part” (1 Corinthians 13:9) and that God alone is judge (Romans 14:4). Everyone is free to explore, question, and grow at their own pace. There’s no pressure and no barriers — just space to learn, heal, and discover.

This is a fresh, growing environment where people can connect, experience God, and be part of something unfolding. Anyone can join a gathering, and anyone can host one — in a home, a café, a park, or online.

Pastor Alex walks with the community as a gentle guide and encourager. Groups can invite him for prayer, healing, teaching, or any holy service, and individuals can reach out for support. If you feel drawn to this journey, you’re welcome to connect, explore, and help shape what comes next.
